Some projects arrive with a fully documented hydraulic and fire services package and need a contractor who can build it without drama. Others arrive as architectural drawings and a performance brief, and need someone to work the fire services design up from scratch. Safe QLD does both, and the deliverables are the same either way: coordinated drawings, a clear scope, and no assumptions left buried in a specification.
Where a project calls for an RPEQ signature, a fire engineered performance solution or certified hydraulic calculations, we coordinate directly with your consulting engineer, fire engineer and building certifier. Safe QLD builds, commissions and certifies its own installation work, we do not hold ourselves out as the RPEQ certifier of the design.

Detection is where a fire package usually gets complicated, because it has to speak to every other system in the building. Our QBCC licensed technicians and in-house specialist electrical contractors install, program and commission the panel, the field devices and every interface hanging off them.

We review the architectural, hydraulic and fire services documentation, interrogate the specification, flag gaps and assumptions in writing, and price a scope you can actually hold us to. No provisional sums hiding a design problem.
Our engineers develop the system design against the NCC/BCA and the relevant Australian Standards, coordinate with your consultant and fire engineer, and resolve the performance requirements before anything is fabricated.
CAD drafting produces coordinated shop drawings for approval by the consultant and certifier, with clash resolution against mechanical, electrical and structural services. Long lead items such as pumpsets and tanks are procured off approved drawings.
Project managers set the installation program, ITPs, hold points and access requirements. On occupied sites we agree isolations, permits, interim protection measures and out of hours windows before a tool comes out of the truck.
Licensed crews install pipework, pumpsets, tanks, detection, EWIS and associated electrical works to the approved drawings, with progressive QA sign-off, photographic records and Aspect certification issued as the works proceed.
Full function commissioning of every system and interface, flow and pressure verification, cause and effect proving, and formal witness testing attended by your certifier, consultant and client representatives.
Form 12 certification of the completed installation, as-built drawings, block plans, device and panel schedules, commissioning records and operation and maintenance manuals, issued as one handover pack rather than dribbled out after PC.
Through defects liability we respond under the same 24/7 arrangement as our contract clients, then the building transitions onto a tailored AS 1851-2012 maintenance program with its asset register already populated.
