Client portal FAQs

Does the client portal cost anything?

No. Full portal access is included free with every Safe QLD maintenance contract. There are no per-user fees, no setup charges and no premium tier. It is part of the service, not an upsell.

What does "full access" actually mean?

You see what we see. Every test result including the ones that failed, every defect we have raised, every asset on your register, your service history and your upcoming schedule. Nothing is filtered, summarised or held back to make the numbers look better.

How many people from our organisation can have a login?

As many as you need. Building managers, body corporate committee members, facility managers, site staff and head office can all have access, which matters when a committee changes or a site manager moves on and the compliance history has to stay with the building.

Can I use it to prove compliance to a Fire Safety Officer or auditor?

That is exactly what it is for. AS 1851-2012 and the Building Fire Safety Regulation 2008 require records of every routine inspection and test, including dates, results, defects found and corrective actions. The portal holds that record and lets you produce it on the spot instead of hunting for a paper logbook.

What happens to our records if we ever leave Safe QLD?

They are your records. You can export and download your compliance history at any time while the contract is active, and we will provide your data on request if you move to another contractor. We do not hold building compliance data hostage.

Do we still get a physical logbook on site?

Yes. The portal sits alongside the on-site logbook rather than replacing it, so you satisfy the record-keeping requirement whether someone is standing in your plant room or sitting in a head office three suburbs away.
